1 Bad Line/Mic in quality on Soundblaster X-Fi
Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can help me... I have verified (compared with laptop and cheap integrated soundcard) that the quality of the line/mic in of my new Soundblaster X-Fi Fatal1ty soundcard is very very poor... Does this mean that my soundcard is broken, or that the default settings is badly adjusted... What can I do to make it better, or verify that I have a problem with the hardware?

Thankyou in advance!!! /Jesper Wilfing

Creative sound blaster is very good on playback but really poor on recording.
I've had X-Fi platinium(still have it) but I've changed to M-Audio 2496.
nevertheless I recorded many tracks whit my X-Fi and had no problem only latency and some others.
Which software do you use to record audio and MIDI?
