UTILIZATION

Just a tip: have 2 amps mandatory for me. it proviens jazz chorus (jc 120) had two HP. I put it on a GA-30 and GB-30 from roland years end 70 80 amp small study but do it in the spirit of JC same type of amplification. a treat (jc 30 diy way) lol.

SOUND QUALITY

perfect with 2 amps nice and warm and deep extent. vibrato effect do for me more of a "quick chorus" very "wet" not expect a cutting edge is that in addition to other pedals.

OVERALL OPINION

Personal huge hearts, but like all the pedals is history of taste and color but it a Myth Grail for some. it is this is a beautiful beast that happiness with .
With experience, you do again this choice? Yes ... an experience in itself.

And vibe stereo chorus effect with legendary power supply, input level adjustment and on / off switch.
Pure analog.

UTILIZATION

Getting started very fast because of the simplicity of the settings. Switch ON / OFF switch and chorus / vibe. Red LED indicating the status: blinking = Effect ON, OFF = fixed effect.
The pedal is a block of cast aluminum so super strong but quite cumbersome.

SOUND QUALITY

The grail of chorus, absolute legend! I failed the first time in my quest and I was pulled over the RetroSonic (a very close replica of the sacred relic). But following a series of circumstances I m'retrouve with the desired object! And there, nothing to do! It's magic! The pedal chorus distills always hoped, neither too much nor too little far with a subtlety of Retrosonic.
The settings are the same but the sound is both more complex and finer.
It is noteworthy that no background noise comes from the legend. The vibe is downright fashion of pure juice, organic honey ... and more! In short! Even if the object does not give eternal life there is great chance to keep it in your set for life!
Chorus is playing on two amps if you want all your hair standing on end and a child's eyes filled with tears while.

OVERALL OPINION

Not always easy to find one in excellent condition, with adequate nutrition (many US version) but for lovers of vintage chorus it worth it to seek and wait.
Chorus and vibe are a beauty and an immediately identifiable sound. You still have to be aware that the sound is typed.
I also have a chorus at Voodoo Vibe Roger Mayer, comparable in all respects on the sound quality but the sounds between the two choruses are different and complementary. Needless to seek his Boss-CE1 with Voodoo and vice versa.
So a board, choose according to what you are looking for, what is certain is that if you flash on digital chorus is better to go your way either the Boss or the RM.

The tremolo is nice ausssi trs, even if it's not a Vox AC-30!
I use it mostly with guitars, and especially not with low, because their level is too lev and put the pedals in red .... it's a grand-mre even when must respect it!
What caractrise the most is the discrtion effect, which is beautiful without being intrusive.
If you want an outrageously monstrous chorus, go your way and make a current boss pedals, on the other hand if you want something beautiful ... and the fact dlicat!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for years, and it is an object that can not be Sparer when you love the beautiful effect, even if it can go months without using it.
For bass, look for the cot from home against TC electronics ..

Effect pedals that t made from 1976, if you have a jou Jazz Chorus 120 connaissez.C you 'is a chorus or vibrato, they can not be all runir in a same effet.C is frankly a big pedals, a prvoir pdalboard large!!

UTILIZATION

Setup could not be more simple, 3 between jack: Stereo 1, a mono, between a guitar.

Super easy to use, I have no manual and frankly there is not need.

The Magical Chorus is lightweight, subtle, there for all gots is not that of Kurt Cobain, but it is beautiful and say that it makes the most, it should repetition.
I do not use too much vibrato so I would not comment on it, in fact it is not my purpose prfr for now.

OVERALL OPINION

I did that for a few months, but it will always have its place in my pedalboard an indispensable, to use without restraint frankly I like that sound, even if I have to find a pdalboard greater.
I found cars on Ebay so the ratio quality price reasonable silent trs.
The effect is less for its size but frankly it's his only "small" default.
I have other Chorus with a more typical EH and Voodoo, but it's the one I prfre So here I put him a 10/10, I would do is choosing without problem.

The Boss CE-1 Chorus Ensemble is a chorus and vibrato guitar pedal. It is an analog pedal and has a 1/4 inch input and output for your instrument and amplifier. It is not rackable as it is a stomp box.

UTILIZATION

The configuration of the CE-1 is straightforward. It has two sections that control two different effects - chorus and vibrato. It has knobs for level control, chorus intensity and depth and rate to control the vibrato. It also has a switch to toggle between high and low to change the tone quality. There is a foot switch to choose between the chorus and vibrato effects, as you can't use both at once. I don't have a manual for this so I don't know how helpful it is.

SOUND QUALITY

Both the chorus and vibrato effects on the Boss CE-1 are awesome sounding. They are both thick and rich in tone and both have a unique sound to them. I have only used this with guitar - usually a Gibson SG and a '76 Fender Twin Reverb. This being said, this would probably sound great with an electric piano and other instruments of that nature. The chorus is one of the thickest chorus tones I have heard, and the vibrato is wobbly and makes for a pretty awesome effect.

OVERALL OPINION

I first used the Boss CE-1 Chorus Ensemble about two years ago. This is one of the first Boss pedals and therefore has a vintage sound to it that isn't present in the newer Boss pedals. While these are somewhat rare, you can find them on ebay even though they will cost you a decent amount of money for a guitar pedal. For those pedal collectors, this might be hard to live without as it has a vintage look and has some serious tone to it. If you are looking for your first chorus pedal I would recommend looking at some of the newer Boss pedals like the CH-1 as you will probably get more from it. However, if you crave that vintage tone and want to add a chorus and vibrato to your set up, this is absolutely worth a serious look.
