For my part I have the model Japan.

However, a point which can be annoying to some people: food "old school" Boss from home! Such as "ACA". So for those of regulated 9v power supplies, it could jam!
For my part I do not care, I have a power supply Boss ACA, and recently I made the purchase of a Power 2 Plus Voodoo Lab, so no worries. But hey it must be considered! Otherwise there is the old pile, but over time it can be expensive: p
UTILIZATION
Config very simple and very intuitive (two knobs at the same time ...).
The spleen, which in some ways control the "frequency" of the chorus, and depth, which controls the intensity.
The range of the obtained is very wide: it goes from barely perceptible to the chorus heavy psychedelic chorus.
The manual, I have not had, but it is absolutely useless!
SOUND QUALITY
Used with a scraper, for me it is THE force in the clear. It's simple, I play almost more clear without it. In full, it also gives a lot of scope is also very effective!
The sound is warm and colors just right. He knows how to be discreet to give that side a little bewitching: p
Unlike the Small Clone Electro-Harmonix, which is a very active chorus (cf. Come As You Are by our friend Kurt).
Personally I rarely misses grows beyond 10: after that sounds just too psychedelic for me! I usually put the rate between the mini and 10, and the depth between noon and max. And there is discreet enough not to be dominant while giving this aspect "bewitching" the sound. To give an idea, coupled with compression (for me a Boss CS-3 moddée) is the sound of Nothing Else Matters.
On low, the effect is somewhat less now but it does it anyway
OVERALL OPINION
I use it since 2008, I bought when I was still a student, on the bay. I saved for months to get it! And since I've never been disappointed!
In addition it is a beautiful object, what is more older than me, it's collector!
As for the models tested, primarily a Small Clone (chorus that is very present, as a reference that I would end up buying me: p), some multi-effects to the c * n.
Quality / price ratio: it is expensive! 120th for me at the time, and it has changed little since for made in Japan ... BUT, it's a pedal that I could do without. If it were to leave me tomorrow, I bought one without hesitation!
