UTILIZATION
The use could not be simpler: two settings and it's over ... Find its takes no more than 30 sec.
With respect, I do not recall having read it, and anyway why bother?!
SOUND QUALITY
The sound is absolutely great. This friendly, space, cozy ... (From what Electroharmonix !!!!). We can notice a slight drop in volume when the effect is on, but it's really small.
I use the Small Clone with a guitar, and I am totally satisfied. For those who would find it difficult to get an idea of the sound, listen Come As You Are by Nirvana ... But beware, the sound of the Small Clone does not end with the tube anthology! It is very versatile, despite the reduced number of available settings. In a sense it is that makes force: no matter what it sounds ...
Who says Electroharmonix said pedal to its non-standard: the Small Clone is faithful to the brand as a move some spleen, its become very ... experimental!! Try it, you'll see!
I tried it on a Jazz Bass, the sound becomes a bit low, brought me the sound color is really interesting. I have not test driven the long way, but the little I heard was really nice: the sound of Simon Gallup Cure or Duff according to the settings, very nice short.
OVERALL OPINION
This pedal is very effective without being "headlock" you do not spend 2 hours to find the sound of death that kills, which also gets bored very quickly ... Small clone with you part, you turn, you play, and it sounds!!
The price / quality ratio is very interesting. I would definitely do it again this election.
