This is a hybrid digital/analog delay. It has a metal enclosure. It is black with white writing. Simple 3 knob controls. Im a hobbyist musician with a love of old rock n roll from early 50s rockabilly to 70s classic rock, I am also love the blues and vintage country music. I bought this pedal from musicians fri...
If you're in the market for a super clean, high quality delay pedal, the Mad Professor Deep Blue Delay is absolutely worth knowing about. It's definitely on the pricer side of pedals, but Mad Professor has released a PCB version of each of their pedals which is about half the price and of course now much more affordable. I've only used the ori...
For the price, the DeltaLab DD1 Digital Delay is one of the best delay pedals I've used. To me, it's the perfect delay pedal for the player looking to just started with delay without spending much money at all. Don't be fooled however, as this isn't a toy and is definitely a legitimate delay pedal. If you're looking to get some serious bang f...
I'm overall a huge fan of the DOD 680 Analog Delay. It seems to be a little known pedal, and it doesn't seem like there are an excess of these floating around. Until I just used the DOD 680 Analog Delay on a session, I hadn't even heard of this pedal for whatever reason. The price seems to be pretty reasonable if you can find one used, but th...
Overall, the Guyatone Tube Echo is a really complete tube delay pedal. While more expensive than most pedals out there, this is about the price you're going to pay for a top notch pedal like this one. I really love the warmth you get from the tube, paired up with it's versatility in terms of it's general parameters and both the analog and tube...
I started playing guitar almost about 5 years ago. I dont care too much about the pedal before, but recently after listening to Radiohead 'The Bends' album, sound processing has caught my attention a lot and so, a delay effect has become my first thing to buy. And this is my 1st delay effect. It is an analog delay, with 3 knobs to contr...
While the price of the Behringer DD400 Digital Delay will be enough to attract many customers, if you’re an experienced player the sound of the pedal most likely won’t be adequate for you. I’d really only recommend it for beginners and/or those who want to get their feet wet with delay and don’t have much money at all to spend on a pedal. I wo...
This pedal is great for its sound. I've had a hard time finding one online, but I haven't checked all the avenues yet. I'm sure it's going for a lot of money right now (good thing I bought mine from someone I knew!). I think this is one of the better analog delays I've tried. For how useful it is, it isn't as well known as some other ones I coul...
I would say that because this thing is so old, it's probably going to run you a lot of money, even if they reissue it. I'd say that the reissue is probably the best way to go, considering the price, the likelihood of it breaking, and the fact that you can buy it from a trusted retailer (I don't know if Craigslist is the safest bet, since these t...
I like the vast amount of technical features on this delay, as well as the really warm and smooth sound in general. I think that for the most part, there are cheaper delays than this, but the price difference isn't the most drastic. If you want a warm sound that has a lot of capabilities, I'd highly recommend this pedal.
