50 brands have "Phasers for Guitar" user reviews
The MXR M107 Phase 100 is still being made today, although there is a vintage version with the script writing as well. I've only used this more modern version of the pedal and think it's pretty awesome to have around. I still wouldn't recommend going alone without the Phase 90, but having the Phase 100 and Phase 90 pretty much covers all the b...
Overall this is a very cool pedal to own and I think every guitar player should own one of these at some point . Whether that be this one of another the phaser pedal is very usable and very fun to play with. This pedal is a very good quality item and at the price new you can't really beat that. You can find them for right at around 480 which is ...
I recommend any phaser to any guitar stop there because it's a great pedal in the tone itself is unique. This box itself is very hard to come by so I suggest going with an MXR petal or possibly a Boss phaser or even lElectro harmonics phaser. Those are much easier to find and sound just as good as any other phaser.
This pedal like many of MXR's is so simple and easy to use. They as a company don't get to crazy with many controls and options. I think the tone of their products have such a sweet ranges of tones that I don't think you need a group of different controls. At around $119 this is a great priced pedal. If you need something simple and that will ge...
For wacky sci-fi tones, this is impossible to beat. It can really nail the Star Trek "phasor" gun type of vibe, interestingly enough. This is a very cool phaser pedal, for sure, and there is a lot of different modulation tones in this box. One thing I could not get it to do was mimic a Univibe convincingly, which was a bit disappointing, but it ...
This is basically a one trick pony, even though the feel can be varied. It sounds good on any speed. I would recommend looking up the "script mod" and getting surgical with it, but after doing so, you'll really love the resultant tone of the pedal.
It's crazy how these pedals are still the king in today's effects world. The Phase 90 really is one amazing pedal, and the script version is probably the best model you can buy. The problem is that they're super expensive. I'm not sure these are worth it, and I actually tend to recommend people buy the custom shop model if they're not collect...
The pedals do get a bit of a bad rap compared to the script models, but they're still solid phasers. Are the script phasers worth the price they go for used? Considering it's not that versatile, I'd say no. My favorite is actually the custom shop Phase 90 model, but that's just me. It needs to be modded for adapters, and an LED + TB would b...
About the only thing it could use it some sort of tempo control since it's heavy on 'swirls' as some people call them. But using the single knob you can get about any territory you need. This isn't a do it all phaser by any means. But a lot of people, not just EVH fans seem to love it. I personally like it a lot for some solos and wacky pass...
