Utilization
The neck is excellent, all guitarists who are trying my Godin reached agreement. the interface is excellent it really is in the canons of modern guitars. The head does not fall despite the presence of effective mechanical oil bath. The sound is good? But very distinctive. The handle is fair and accurate in all its length.
Le manche est excellent, tous les guitaristes qui ont essayer ma Godin sont tombé d'accord. l'ergonomie est excellente on est vraiment dans les canons des guitares au confort moderne. La tête ne tombe pas malgré la présence d'efficace mécanique a bain d'huile. Le son est bon?mais trés typé. Le manche est juste et précis sur toutes sa longueur.
Sounds
This is an acoustic guitar, Godin actually now large variation with microphones. I know that the acoustic model. The sound is old school ties typed. The register of this guitar is very old time blues with rope phosphorus / bronze (to play Robert Johnson is excellent). But it is also very well connected in strings Argentine swing and gypsy. Overall, this is a guitar that excels in the registry blues / jazz from 1920 to 1950. Games with the comfort of a recent guitar and a reasonable price.
C'est une guitare acoustique, Godin en fait désormais de nombreuse déclinaison avec micros. Je ne connais que le modèle acoustique. Le son est tés typé old school. Le registre de cette guitare est très old time blues avec des cordes phosphore/bronze ( pour jouer du Robert Jonhson c'est excellent). Mais elle est aussi très bien, monté en cordes argentine pour le swing et le manouche. globalement, C'est une guitare qui excelle dans le registre blues/jazz de 1920 à 1950. Avec le confort de jeux d'une guitare reçente et un prix raisonnable.
Overall Opinion
I basically played the gypsy with this guitar, I have long sought a kind selmer gypsy guitar at a reasonable price but the price for the Godin was the gypsy "vintage" broken and unplayable or reproduction of Chinese crap. Also I've never been a fan of gypsy guitars square sleeves. I sold this guitar to finance the purchase of a nylon (Chinese, it is not all crap). I kept it and played four years and I have no complaints to him.
J'ai essentiellement joué du manouche avec cette guitare, J'ai longtemps cherché une guitare manouche type selmer a un prix raisonnable mais, pour le prix de la Godin on a des manouche "vintage" défoncé et injouable ou des reproduction chinoise de merde. De plus je n'ai jamais été fan des manches carré des guitares manouches. J'ai vendu cette guitare pour financer l'achat d'une nylon ( chinoise, elle ne sont pas toutes merdiques). je l'ai gardé et joué 4 ans et je n'ai aucun reproche à lui faire.
