PA & Live Sound

Short for Public Address, the term PA describes all equipment used to broadcast sound in relatively large spaces: microphones, amplifiers, speakers, etc. This of course means that this is an area that’s inseparable from live music, even vital if one considers that the Beatles stopped touring because they couldn’t hear their instruments anymore over the cries of their fans at concerts.

persuasion New AFfiliate	1 Posted on 05/09/2008 at 01:19:56 Hi all, new here so hope someone can help me! firstly i run my bass into my podxt into the pa but the sound isnt defined enough,anyone know how to get the best sound from the gear i use? secondly we've bought the feedback destroyer but the manual doesnt make sense to us! anyone know how to set it up with a pa but just for vocals, weve connected it via the insert point on the vocal channel but apart from that we're stuck! cheers martin
