Son clair
pour le son clair, le potard de Gain ne sert pas qu'à régler le volue de ce canal, il permet vraiment de doser le "gain" du son clair, à savoir : si le potard est proche du mini, il faudra pousser le Master pour que quelque chose sorte de la bête, mais le son sera typiquement transi : tres clair, tres froid, parfait pour des arpèges métal par exemple.
Quand on le pousse jusqu'à la moitié de la course, un légère amélioration se fait sentir, le son gagne un peu en chaleur et brilance, mais rien de faramineux.
là où ce bouton commence à devenir vraiment intéressant, c'est quand on le tourne à partir des 3/4 de sa course. A ce moment-là, le son gagne en claquant, pas au niveau d'un AC-30, mais la simulation est bien proche de la réalité avec chaleur, rondeur (le supra son cristallin n'est pas si loin finalement); et quand il est à fond, on obtient un son clair vraiment chaud, qui aura tendance à "cruncher" pas mal suivant l'attaque et le micro sélectionné.
Overdrive
la palette de l'overdrive est vraiment intéressante , on peut naviguer entre un son presque clair, réagissant lui aussi beaucoup à l'attaque, et un grosse disto bien bourrinne à la Slipknot ou Metallica, en passant par AC/DC ou santana, voire des crunchs bluesy, soyons dingues... Le potard de contour, qui remplace ici celui des médiums, sculpte vraiment le son, à 0 les bas médiums sont coupés et les hauts sont "bosstés", et à 10 c'est l'inverse avec une coupure au niveau des aigus, par exemple en réglant le son avec (de gauche à droite) : 8,6.5,7,5, on est assez proche de Mettalica. On a donc un overdrive très versatile, beaucoup plus que le son clair à mon goût.
Effets
Les effets embarqués sont d'assez bonne facture, j'utilise surtout le chorus et le delay, mais très peu. Mais on peut obtenir un son typé 80's assez façilement, ou typé "guitar-hero" avec beacoup de delay aussi. Leur réglage est tres progressif, et le fait de mettre l'effet à fond rajoute un peu de pèche à votre son (le son clair avec le gain à fond gagne ainsi un peu de grain bienvenu quand l'effet est au taquet).

Je l'utilise depuis quelques mois, et cet ampli me satisfait bien, même s'il paraît désuet apres avoir essayé un AC-30, cet ampli ravira ceux qui veulent assez de puissance pour couvrir un batteur nerveux sans pour autant défriser la voisine, on peut aborder un petit café-concert sans trop de souci.
Points + : l'overdrive, la simulation de lampes en son clair de bonne facture.
Points - : le son clair assez fade dans le dévut de sa cousre, on ne voit pas beaucoup de différence entre le début et la moitié...
Rapport qualité-prix à la hauteur des prestations délivrées, je l'ai acheté 290€, et je referais ce choix car c'est tout de même un bon ampli, pour peu qu'on ne sache pas ce qu'est l'amplfication à lampes...
