I think I liked the flexibility of signal the most about this pedal. The fact that I could blend three different octaves together into one signal is pretty cool. It greatly expands the range of your instrument, albeit in a limited way. The price isn't really that bad, it usually lists at about $120. I do think that you could get a cheaper octave...
I like the originality and quality sound effects and Detune Harmony. At the beginning I did not like the harmony because it is clear in his ugly, you really learn to use it wisely, I think she is great! I sought a Whammy effect and Im not disappointed, great! I highly recommend you try this out, and for the price you really cant beat what you g...
If you're looking for an awesome octave pedal for guitar, the PS-6 Harmonist is probably the pedal I'd recommend you check out first. There is a newer version of the Octron, the Octron 2, which is a bit more in depth, but I like this simpler one just fine. It's not going to be the cheapest pedal on the market, but I do think it's reasonably pric...
At new these pedals come in right at around $85, which is a great price for a very cool pedal. This pedal ca produce some very cool sounds and effects when used in sparing. I would recommend this pedal to someone who loves effects and could use an octave pedals sound. This is pretty cheap unit and does the job right.
These pedals have been long discontinued not since 2003. They have a newer one that can be used for bass and guitar. That ones has much more user friendly controls and parameters. This pedal is great as well and if you can get it for under $50 the I would recommend picking this pedal up. It is a fun pedal for getting some very cool effects for y...
Unless you like things to sound off, or are into noise music, I would not suggest this pedal. It just does not perform that well.
This pedal is not disconnected and is only available on the used market. You can check the classifieds for what they are going or you can pickup the newer model the Boss PS-6 which has an array of features that top this pedal. I feel that the newer one is more user friendly and has more to offer the guitarist.
This pedal is geared more towards the noise, massive effect crowd. I actually got it from a friend who said he could not understand why anyone would use it. The regular delays are boring and easily outdone by any of the other boss delay pedals. The one big downside to this pedal is the lack of adjustment to the user. The knobs are tied in togeth...
If you know what an octave pedal is and does, it's worth checking out. After all, it's the world standard of octave pedals. However, I found that the usage was fairly limited in the real world. I'm not a big doom metal player, and when I want to play that kind of music, I prefer using an aggressive fuzz instead. If you want to thicken up som...
