UTILIZATION
RAS on this one connects everything and we can begin to play. There are easily a setting that is appropriate, the tone is very effective and the possibilities of this pedal its many
SOUND QUALITY
I use it to get into a head Marchall JCM 800 2210 (2CH). On the crunch channel (it's marshall is not clear the top of his !!!!!) I use it as a boost to increase the gain, but I think this pedal is really made to boost an amp already in saturation. It can get gloves with harmonics "in sailing you want" without denaturing the initial saturation. One approaches the sound of the fireworks Zakk (it remains for me to buy the fingers that go with it !!!).
I tried recement studio on a transistor amp (peavey bandit 112 I think). This pedal has saved me repeat it!! I could find good sound through it.
OVERALL OPINION
A good little pedal for overdrive, good value quality price, very versatile, not specifically designed to metal which will have a range of interesting from a nice crunch and good warm, if its more metal it is used in an already saturated amplifier
