Overall Opinion
Routing pedal for 8 effects loops, useful for those who are tired of tap dance
The pedal is no longer manufactured it is replaced by MK2 Octaswitch the difference is this:
The levels of food, Combinator has a built-in power and can power eight 9v pedal while octaswith does not have an integrated power supply cable, for it was against a stack location 2x9V
3 + 1 external output tuner output against two external output for Octaswitch
18 presets (3 of 6 presets bank) against eight presets and 2 presets for external output on Octaswitch
6 switch to mute the loops + 1 + 1 selection against 8 presets for loops and a switch to mute octaswich
The mute the biggest weakness is not true bypass unlike Octaswith what makes all the difference and I think especially the Combinator tended to alter the sound of some pedal ... and there is way
The advantages of the octaswich, the button to the buffer on / off
Pedal resold without regret not against I do not understand it can be found at 300 € Used knowing that the pedal is the new bradait to 190 €

La pédale n'est plus fabriquée elle est remplacée par l'Octaswitch MK2 les différences se situent :
L'alimentation, le Combinator dispose d'une alimentation secteur intégrée et permet d'alimenter 8 pédale en 9v contre un emplacement pile de 2x9V et une entrée 9V pour l'Octaswitch
3 sortie externe + 1 sortie accordeur contre 2 sortie externe pour l'Octaswitch

Petit plus, l'Octaswich dispose d'un on/off pour le buffer et d'une sortie Stereo alors que le Combinator c'est du full buffer
Le gros point faible du Combinator, il n'est pas true bypass contrairement à l'Octaswith ce qui fait toute la différence et surtout je trouve que le Combinator avait tendance à altérer voir dégrader le son... et là c'est très moyen, d'un autre coté l'Octaswitch avait aussi cette tendance mais moins que son grand frère
Pédale revendu sans regret pas contre je ne comprends pas qu'on puisse la trouver d’occasion à 300€ sachant qu'à la Pédale il la brade neuve à 190€... sinon l'Octaswitch MK2 en neuf c'est 289€, pour les plus fortunés il y a G-Lab avec le GSC-5 à 1033€ et Voodoo Lab avec le GCX + Ground control à 822€, ça pique mais on est dans le haut de gamme, avis aux amateurs
