I use the Boss Micro BR for 3 months.
I did not expect for the price as well!
It is small, so easy to store. Probably so weak to care.
I have not tried other models because I wanted to get into the home studio on a budget. It easily performs this function! I intended to use it only for recording guitar / vocals and finally I made with the total (electronic drums, keyboard, etc.).
It is possible to extract each track in mp3 or wave, to put them on his pc. Thus, it is no longer limited to 4 tracks, but all you want.
The virtual tracks (8 on each track real) can re-record and then combine the tracks as you want.
Can be mastered entirely in the micro BR but I prefer to do it with software on pc.
We can hook up all over: guitars, microphones, electronic drums, etc..
The internal microphone helps out, but is not great: no one recognizes your voice.
You can also use the MICRO BR as a tuner or as mp3 player, with a slowdown in the effort to track and learn to play a song.
Drum kits are also included (I have not used).
Many guitar effects are integrated. They are generally very good.
The set is fairly easy to use because the functions are well thought out and intuitive. However, as this little device can do a lot of things, I am sometimes a bit lost (including how to manage the effects).
The card comes with is sufficient if the household regularly.
In short, for that price, a well deserved 10/10!
