Small cardioid condenser microphone basic. (No pad or low cut) Construction serious as always with Neumann.
OVERALL OPINION
It is a general micro suitable for many applications either stereo pair is in continuance of instrument.
Sumptuous on the flutes and strings, it is much less effective on the piano.
It can be used in the Over Head on a battery, for against, I am not in favor of its use on toms because of its tendency to blithely resume cymbals for that, and if one insists on using static, there are specialists like the Shure SM98.
on the other hand, in contrast to a previous opinion, I got excellent results on mid-sized organs.
It sounds a little flattering but it's a great value. I find it a bit too expensive (700-800 euros) especially since we do not find his chiseled large membranes of the brand.
