Value For Money : Excellent
100w amplifier transistor.
Clean channel, crunch channel / distortion. Eq Bass / med / trebble. Reverb ...

UTILIZATION

Config simple and classic. Not need the manual.
What is nice is the separate EQ for channel 2 and the separate gain for crunch and distortion.
It sounds right away, Eq responds well, very correct power.

SOUNDS

This amp is closer to Marshall than Fender, so its nice and light crunch of high quality. Personal I like the sound distortion but some do not share my opinion.
This amp sounds with all the guitars even if not completely designed for metal ... he added with a pedal is very well the road.
I use an ESP X-Tone ps2, I put the bass and mid to 3 / 4, treble at 2 / 3 and the sound is punchy and warm, with the crunch is really interesting for rock, noisy. .. But not all combinations work (of course must not be in a process of pro, must remain in the category of the amp: the consumer, semi-pro, small concerts)
The reverb is okay.

OVERALL OPINION

Amplifier used in rehearsal rooms depusi 2001. Reliable, very little repair, versatile. We also have MG100dfx Marshall (ibid: 100w transistor) and I find the above Hugues ... I have never been conquered by Marshall (earache, acute screaming, distortion piss), but many users prefer the Marshall (reflexively, out of pride?).
In any case this Hugues is a safe bet, with a good quality / price ratio, although brands and newer models are probably more relevant now.
