UTILIZATION

The usage is very easy and very simple. Corrections including the EQ is very effective. I own this amp since 1991 and I never changed the lamps and had no fault with (I'm not playing every day it is not true).

The construction is very robust.

SOUNDS

For sounds, I am quite happy although I have not tried many other amps. Previously, (long time ago ...), so I had a Fender transistor (eighty five), and I wanted that one I had not tried. As soon as I could play on it I was captivated by the sound quality, breadth and depth of sound channel clear. Ébourriffant! Terrible! I played on for a decade with a Lag (1 double and 1 single acute severe) and I loved the clean sound with the microphone serious. Since then I have a Les Paul studio and have a blast with it!

I admit I have never been conquered by the channel saturated (too much gain) because I prefer to crunch huge distos. That said, fiddling with the knobs including the gain, I think we can find something great, but not necessarily satisfactory.

One of my favorite configs is to send the clean channel volume at 5 or 8, this gives a crunch to fall! Problem obviously as the volume is loud enough, it's impossible to play gently with. But it gets its crazy!

According to whether it is crystalline or what, then, I'm not expert enough to set it. Must try with your guitar to see if you like. If it is to play tricks with the distortion, in my opinion it is better to use a pedal with.

OVERALL OPINION

Ben good as I've told you, I love this amp and I do not intend to change (no envy). Eventually I would try out a Vox AC 30, but good for what I do this amp satisfies me. I compose and mainly uses the Tonelab to my tracks, but it happened to transplant with the amp volume up and it sends ::::: well!!

Amp recommend!
