I turned instead use low-medium PA and original for use strictly serious Hifi: This HP is mounted in a box of 20 liters (30 + would be preferable) and épaulent in the band 40-120Hz of base SPACECRAFT HP fostex 10cm with a huge magnet (for their size), so I needed a woofer just as fast.
SOUNDS
By measuring, I found many holes and peaks in the response curve - but the 40Hz is almost at 0db, below, nothing! It goes up to 2500Hz without difficulty.
I compensate for irregularities in frequency by a DCX2496 EQ filter that also HP, a configuration that gives me a very serious controlled and enjoyable at the same time (the amp is a module ClassD Hypex 180 watts).
OVERALL OPINION
While I have not had the opportunity to compare it to other models sound I am very satisfied with the 10LW30. If it again, well ... I'll take two for better spatialization more severe impact, or I can choose to be the 12LX60, but more oriented sub requires a larger volume.
