« Guild F212-XL »
Published on 03/17/06 at 15:00Started on a Stewart arch-top when I was 12. Went electric 12-string in a garage band in 1968. Played Bob Dylan in university on an Eko 12-sting.
Got my F212-XL new in 1974 for $450 in Toronto. Still got it. It is the best 12 string there is.
Boom. Rich harmonics. Big hips.
Saddle plate would separate in heat. Got it fixed.
double truss, excellent spruce, great mahogany
Shoudda bought two
