I use this mixer for 5 years (summer 2005). Just before I mixer JCB
Positives:
- Sound: A bit too bright but very clear
and widespread. Many output gain. Regardless of breath (see almost inaudible despite 3 KW sound). No sizzling Knob,
Balanced output (with jack). Note that the DXM 06 attenuated peaks when one climbs gain entry without a gross distortion of the sound.
- Compact
- The effects very effective
- The system of pre-listening very intuitive (mini-crossfader) and powerful headphone output,
- Perfect cut - Phono switchable online
- Mic / line on the independent
- Ease of use.
The downside:
- Weakness:
* The pots are linear Dessoude very easily (welds which will hold the pots).
* Ring terminals RCA snapped easily,
* Webs inside that releases easily
- Non-standard size for mounting on flight checkout.
- The cross fader "bounced"
Anyway must say that my model lived before I buy it but for the price (99 euro-hand), it is very correct.
If it all over again, I'd take the model above to have a microphone input supplétaire.
