Keys are semi heavy allowing a better expression.
Pads good

UTILIZATION

Huge advantage for this controller is its ease of configuration, we chose a software to pilot it and hop we play. Advanced configuration (eg pad sensitivity ...) is very instinctive.
The manual is very clear and effective.

OVERALL OPINION

So firstly sorry for the delay in this review because I just read my AF mail box and since this whole year I did not realize I was the only (former) owner of MPK25 .
First, it is a very good machine and if I had to make the choice again, I would just ... not this choice!
I will take a higher end model, for the number of octaves.
I seriously recommend this machine.
I have long worked on the hardware (s2000, esi4000, mpc etc ... but also on nb midi controllers) and I think that the MPK25 coupled with good sequencer and sampler (software or hardware) plus a little talent, well it's a very good quick and easy way to reproduce the ideas and concepts that we urgently need to materialize, but also an effective workstation when we want to examine in depth a title and work on the details.
