I just got my Rex Pro 2x12 fresh brand new, I chose mounted with Jensen Neo 12-100, which will undergo a thorough review.
The workmanship is impeccable: the Tolex fully installed, as well as foil and white stripe, all chosen by me. I opted for black metal corners, it is very beautiful, and metal side handles are also in good order. The connection looks good. Nothing to say, the very beautiful work!
The sound is very high, I'm amazed! Lonewolf said as below, the housing contributes greatly: the spread is great, I get anywhere in the rehearsal room, the sound is alive and wrapped in light years away from my old Marshall cabinet . How accurate also, no vibration or parasite frequency set forward or backward, the momentum is huge, the sound is clear and defined over the entire spectrum, it's beautiful!
I tried many speakers on the right and left before opting for the latter, the models of major manufacturers do not suit me: expensive, not the desired look, no choice of hps (often V30 which I do will not at all) ... Here the value for money is most excellent: the choice Tolex, grid, net, corners, connector, and HPs!
