I went from the DJM 700, to this one ...
It is just a tad longer (about 1cm) that DJM

It is lighter and seems more fragile than the RDA, but it is probably due to the choice of materials ...

Any slight disappointment, screen is slightly overlooked in some places, I find the finish as good as Pioneer, and I found traces of glue on buttons ... No big deal but to 1000 € the table ... Well ...

UTILIZATION

Very simple, box effect is almost adopted in 20 min I would say ...
I like the larger buttons on Pioneer

on the other hand I found the box Pioneer more efficient, because you can do an on / off direct effect,
while on the evo, must be "on", then install the fader effect ... otherwise there is a mute (probably buffering for two effects only))
But then just "cutter" effect with the fader (less radical than the button Pioneer but we made it)

This is largely made up by the two samplers that can switch two unused channels, and with pitch, very effective! An improved roll ...

I'm not an especially fine ear but it means above all at the equalizer!

Compared to my DJM 700 I used for at least 3 years, I'm not disappointed, although it has some points in less ...

Very simple and intuitive trs indeed pioneer the effects are known to all the world, but the handling of those requests that do not rev so little time for the rest everybody knows how to ride a fader ^ ^

OVERALL OPINION

Possd with a DJM 909 and a ECLER NUO 4, working on a NUO 5 and a DJM 800, if I place it above all global, only the DJM 800 with the Color FX can have as many crativit infrieur but for a price, the EVO 4 is better.

All is good as in the ham.

Hiper intuitive. no more than an hour away for the hands apersevoire ..

OVERALL OPINION

It take two years when I use the Ecler EVO4 and am very happy.
I mix and live with.
The synchronizer bpm is EXCELLENT with my machines and my softwaires.
I use MIDI control with Abelton live on a Windows XP Pro. And considering aquerire Windows 7 64 Bit.
Of my question: does it work with drivers W7.

Dj for 7 years and having to try quite a few tables mix especially Pioneer, Ecler remains a reference! It is now more than a year and I never had to worry despite my hard top. every day I discover new opportunities to work on her. And thanks to the 2 effects processors that can combine to MIDI!
