«  Gimme! »

* What characteristics have motivated your choice?

The semi-weighted keyboard, pads, screen and all for a very low price!

* What connections (MIDI pedals ...)?

Midi in, midi out, pedal A, B pedal, USB, mains and switch on / off!

Music store purchased from and delivered with EZDrummer and Samplitude 11 Lite Silver! Super well packed by the way!

UTILIZATION

* The touch keyboard is it nice? Fits your use?

So, playing the piano, I needed a keyboard with a touch at least semi-weighted, the hammer touches being too expensive. On this keyboard, the touch is perfect for me but do not expect to have a piano under your fingers! One feels some restraint at the keys to the depression and back super fast. I find it very comfortable to touch my use.

* The manual is clear and sufficient?

A manual? Yeah! Then a pdf on CD in English only and very short! One must know the minimum to get by for MIDI, or be patient and search on the net! But hey, the screen is a hell to get by more quickly!

* The general configuration is simple? The selection of MIDI channels, patches is easy?

So for now, I did that connected via USB to my laptop that runs on Seven! Immediately recognized the fact! I use Cubase VST to control!

What disappointed me on the other hand is pad level! Not super reactive buggers. In fact, to launch sequences, not bad. But if it is to create drum loops for example (what I intended to do), it thickens enormously! Under EZDrummer, we must cling to release something already using them because of their reactivity, but also their velocity sensitivity! Well, but finally, it helps out!

Regarding potentiometers and others, hard to gain recognition in the VSTi but it must be adjustable! I have not pushed the thing enough. Namely, the knobs are notched; me I like it like that!

OVERALL OPINION

* For how long have you been using it?

For two days ... Review to be published in a few weeks! :-)

* Did you try many other models before getting this one?

Some M-Audio but just for the touch, which is what mattered the most and I am satisfied!

* What is so special that you like best?

- Touch
- Screen
- The ease of use and installation in Seven
- Her little mouth all sober and efficient :-)

* What is so special that you like least?

- The manual that would have served for a few small points
- The pads not terrible

* Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice?

For now and for the budget, yes, without hesitation. For a triple budget, I would take the Akai MPK49.

Again, this is a hot review after a few hours of use only! Still, that brand which is virtually unknown to me looks very serious and I am even thinking about buying some monitor speakers from the same family. To follow up in a few weeks time!
