Yamaha announced that it will introduce a new piano category at Winter NAMM.
A press conference will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2009 in the Marquis Ballroom of the Anaheim Marriott Hotel.
From Thursday, January 15 to Saturday, January 17, Yamaha’s Band & Orchestral Division will host artist appearances at the Marriott Marquis Ballroom daily at 11:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
On Friday, January 16 and Saturday, January 17, Yamaha will host Junior Original Concerts at 11:00 a.m., featuring the Yamaha Music School students performing their own original compositions, appearing at the Marriott Marquis Ballroom.
Friday, January 16, Yamaha Guitars hosts two artist performances at the Guitar and Drum Booth, #4578 in Hall C. Alex Skolnik plays at Noon; Joe Bonamassa performs at 3:00 p.m.
On Saturday, January 17, Yamaha Drums will hold a Drum Artist autograph session at Booth #4578, Hall C, at 11:00 am. That same day, at Noon, guitarist Alex Skolnik performs in the booth, which will host a Yamaha Guitar Artist autograph session at 1:00 p.m. At 3:00 p.m. in the same booth, Alex Skolnik and Joe Bonamassa will lead a guitar jam session.
Alicia Keys will perform at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17 at the Yamaha Booth in the Marriott Marquis Ballroom. She will also participate in a press conference to introduce her new signature sounds.
