-How long have you use it?

Jou I sometimes top with a bv150h (normal you might say ...)

    - What is the particular feature you like best and least?

The best: the sound of the amp is really faithfully reproduce up!
The least: like all etbien baffle some quality she PSE weight! (4 v30 oblige!)

    - Have you tried many other models before acqurir?

I tried Mesa, marshall, peavey, engl, laney ... and many very good report quality price!

Even when I prfr NOS (NameOfSound), good small mark in the south of France! (So it's why I put 8 ... m ^ me if Socrates is, with NOS, prfr my brand!)

I use it for 1 year

    I had a Marshall 4x12 vintage prcdemment 30, Mesa 2x12 (V30), Line 6 Vetta 2x12 combo ... and now this beautiful 4x12 Crate

Weakness? can be the weight lol but hey it is not heavier than another 4x12 of quality ...

In any case here must mchamment! I use it with a head HK trilogy (and soon coupled with a prophesy 2) and the sound is both warm and powerful ... PURE HAPPINESS these vintage 30!

I play only the mtal (power / prog / hard rock 80's) and it suits me perfectly!

The look is original, the grid is mtallique logo and chrome / gloss: about flash!

Excellent price quality ratio! A again, I buy it back without hsiter 4x12!

    Great cabinet for cheap!

Crate Blue Voodoo BV412SVBPublished on 06/15/10 at 16:43
This is a really solid cabinet from Crate. There are 4 12" Celestion speakers inside of it. It is a bit burdensome to carry around, but it does have wheels. Stairs are difficult but that's the case with most cabinets. Because of this, it actually sounds quite a bit like a Marshall cabinet, considering that they are very similar speakers in those cabinets. I think that this is a great cabinet to use with a really heavy distortion sound, it sure works with clean tones but I think that I prefer a Marshall-esque tone with it. It won't really bring out the same sound that the speakers in a Fender amp would. Thus, stick with the rock stuff for this guy, and you can't go wrong. The perfect match f…

The perfect match for it, ideally, is the Crate Blue Voodoo head, which is an underrated amp head. With that combination, you can really rip, and it gets more than loud enough for most gigging purposes. The best thing about these cabinets is that they are a heck of a lot cheaper than the Marshall cabinets that they basically sound exactly like. While it is kind of a rip-off, it's the same thing and it's cheaper, so I would definitely prefer it to the Marshall. The sound quality is as solid as to be expected. I would have to highly recommend this to anyone looking for a new cabinet, it's just such a deal compared to a different, more popular name like Marshall, which has been capitalizing on its name for years now and really raising prices enormously. It is a bit burdensome to carry around, but it does have wheels. Stairs are difficult but that's the case with most cabinets. This is a great cabinet and you'd do well to check it out.
