V old man on the hill
« Perfect for small pedalboards. »
Published on 10/25/14 at 23:48In developing my Pedalboards I went through many phases, the whole stack, transformers onion in a row on a power strip, separated with independent distribution (type chameleon, or powerplant) units but in my case there was always excluded that made me lugging her shit transformer: Whammy IV.
Being passed over for Whammy 5, finished the AC amperage and gargantuan. With the Boss PSA-230S I feed not only my 5 whammy distortion but my Boss, my MXR Carbon Copy, my Xblender, 2 pedals Digitech X series, a freeze EH and also a Boss TU2 by which I allow myself the luxury of to travel all that.
Ok it has a look of its phone charger with green LED, it is ugly but small because the coils are outside the frame, a meter away on the wire which is thinner and noiseless.
It's hard to talk too long a transformer but it has changed my life, passing the 500m / a is a blessing, the PSA-230P (red) would not issue than 200m / s. Coupled with the power ramp Boss PSA-230S should be able to support many Pedalboards. But we can not foresee everything.
