Elixir strings are round = good
UTILIZATION
Channel pleasant
The head is not heavy unlike the Fender Jazz bass head which tends to tilt to the left in a sitting position
General impression of sweetness of sound, heat,
Yet powerful
SOUNDS
Very good acoustics for jazz to country, bluegrass, etc.
The volume of the box and the quality of wood (solid) are found completely
The mechanics are still soft and reliable
Projects:
- Try other strings, and even La Bella black nylon, but the seller is not hot
Council to play bass way, 2 fingers closed
- Project to defretter to get even closer to the bass. But apparently disproportionate cost at cost (at least 50% of the red instrument) with an uncertainty on the final result ...
Suggestions audio fanzine welcome ...
OVERALL OPINION
Finally seldom used because I play several other instruments (guitar, mandolin ....)
But each return to this bass is a pleasure whenever found
No experience scene, I bought a small audience use, walking, friends circle ..
But with the preamp and microphone in front of where (secure my sm57) why not the scene?
