Minga
Good quality / price ratio
Published on 08/29/12 at 15:33 (This content has been automatically translated from French)Body Shape: Auditorium
Type of strings: steel
Top: Cedar
Small called "parlor"
Electro-acoustic guitar with piezo under the bridge, WITHOUT SETTING.
UTILIZATION
The small handle is very nice to play up the neck, with a width comparable to the width of the neck of an electric guitar, much narrower than a classical or folk size.
Ergonomics, it lacks a tie strap side handle, and an adjustable output level.
SOUNDS
The sound is very good (for the price) in acoustics, with a good balance bass and treble.
Electro-acoustic, the output level of the piezo is very low, making it necessary to adjust the gain high enough on the mixer or to pass through a pedal effect (reverb ..)...…

OVERALL OPINION
I use it for more than a year. When I bought it, I tried all the guitars the store, standard sizes or reduced, including a beautiful Fender electro-acoustic same size ... 2500 €: objectively, the Fender was really better ... but I still took the Elypse.
I love its handy size and acoustic sounds, which I can take it anywhere. Electro-acoustic, with a good mix and a little reverb, it remains usable despite the very cheap piezo and the lack of integrated settings. Only the hole in the jack single tie strap can see that it is an electro-acoustic.
A 119 €, the price / quality ratio is good, and I would do the same choice today, if applicable.
But the best, I think, is really to try all the local shops guitars!
