Bozeman Montana USA.
- Colour Heritage Cherry Sunburst
- Solid spruce (spruce)
- Mahogany back and sides (mahogany)
- Fingerboard and bridge Indian rosewood (rosewood)
- 22 frets / 14 frets non-cash
- Mahogany
Made in limited edition for Guitar Center in the USA.
Frets inlaid mother of pearl double block,
Integrated active piezo sensor.
Traditional Gibson Rosewood Bridge.
Discrete volume control in the soundhole.
Rounded handle
Nickel Grover kidney mechanical Deluxe.
On the other hand, the plastic knobs are very "cheap" absolutely need changing! (To be replaced by knobs in bone, ivory, abalone, ebony and copper, it deserves it)!
Especially because the finishes are very accurate (very happy, considering the price of Gibson Acoustics) replacement of the knobs is not a luxury but really obvious!
I noticed the same aberration on Hummingbird Custom?? (Bad taste)!?!

UTILIZATION
The neck is nice and easy.
Access to sharps is like any Square Shoulder Dreadnought cad is not for the solos of SRV ... Although "Life By The Drop" ...
Light and well balanced!
The sound is sublime! Powerful and gentle at the same time, well-designed. The bass is well rounded and deep! The action is very good and comfortable. A real treat!
SOUNDS
On the sound side, we are dealing, as with most Gibson Dreadnoughts, a guitar mostly made of mahogany (back, sides and neck), contrary to Martin of the same type that are rosewood (with exceptions), and mahogany is a wood which gives the instrument a lot more "grain" and presence, profile "Shoulders square" on the other hand ensuring a more powerful sound projection and harmonics.
It is well suited to my style of music, Folk, Blues, Country, Rock'n'Roll.
"That's All Right Mamma" is a treat!
I expected an acoustic amp ... While on my Fender BJ (Jensen) that does well with the media to a minimum (but of course the Blues JR is not designed for acoustic guitars). I much prefer not to amplify! And it's not tomorrow that I will perform at "Radio City Music Hall" in New York! LOL!
Crystalline acute and powerful (without being aggressive), present very low and deep.
I love all the sounds.
The guitar has something about it, I don't know what (This sound that we look for is what we get and what is expected of a good guitar ... Mojo?! Lol!) I was immediately hooked! I'm sure you know what I mean
OVERALL OPINION
Purchased in the U.S. for a few days.
I love its subtlety, its power projection. The least ... Like I said above the quality of the knobs is truly deplorable (cheap plastic), I ordered the Ebony & Ivory knobs, And there the finish will be perfect, and worthy of Gibson! (But not) ...
I like the pickguard reminiscent of a Songbird, 1960 But it remains a Hummingbird, a real one!
Prices in the U.S. are "affordable" enough (Given the course of the € uro)! , 0)) This model is exclusively manufactured for the U.S. market. In fact it's a Hummingbird with a pickguard (say sober +) different from the Hummingbird Classic. I made the comparison and it's really the only difference.
I would definitely repeat again this choice
It lacks a few years it addresses the patina that Gibson doing well ... But we must let the time pass... Let the good time roll, 0)
