Guitar Dreadnought style, US-made, cutaway, electro. Solid spruce top, back and sides Mahogany high-pressure laminate finish. Stratabond handle, rosewood fingerboard 20 boxes. Ebony bridge. Fishman preamp Classic4. The finish of the instrument is flawless.

UTILIZATION

In acoustics, we recognize the warmth and precision of the Martins from the first contact with the instrument. The spectrum is very balanced. In chords with a pick, it is a treat. Good sound projection. The game is also the fingers highlighted including the well-rounded and accurate bass and treble well represented. Only the single player will be made difficult (this is not the primary purpose of this scraper) at the top of the handle with a difficult access to the highest notes, thickness of the handle forces, as well as an action of the strings a little too high that can be corrected easily. In electronics, this guitar amp and do a good job although I prefer to play acoustic.

SOUNDS

Versatile guitar, not intended for the folk / rock, although it is not necessarily best suited to play solo acoustic. In electronics, the situation is different and the fishman allows the soloist to express themselves more easily by adjusting the EQ of the preamp.

OVERALL OPINION

I own this guitar for about 2 years and I do not regret this small investment ... marketed in France since 2005 at around EUR 900/1000 (10% or less in VPC) is a matter that can only bonnifier time. I suggest anyone who plays folk / rock and wish to gain a quality instrument without having to go into debt over 10 years. In short, this little Martin worth a visit ...
