Solid cedar top with gloss finish
Back & Sides: Mahogany
Silver maple neck
Fingerboard & Bridge: Rosewood
Godin Quantum Electronics 2
UTILIZATION
The handle is extremely comfortable, access to acute perfect acoustics, easy handling, you feel immediately at ease. I find it perfect for playing with fingers and a pick just fine ...
SOUNDS
It is very versatile and very balanced, some may find it a lack of character, but very expressive and lets a lot of nuances.
Accurate low, medium magnificent, crystalline highs but not showy, nice projection, in short, it tears in acoustics.
Connected, this quatum 2 is pretty good, this fast feedback with the microphone on stage so ...
For registered against models directly to the PC, it does more than just a piezo seriously, it sounds very natural. We can definitely beat the onboard electronics, but in the high-end ...
OVERALL OPINION
4 months of daily use, the sound just keeps getting better I think. Beware the cedar is susceptible to stroke and all other picks bourrinages.
I was put off for at least three times in a Taylor, I tried a lot of things, from Gibson Takamine, this small Seagull seduced me when I saw the price I have no hesitation . Clearly, we can do better but it's much, much more
