Value For Money : Excellent
- Manufacturing in Canada by Simon & Patrick is a trademark of luthier related Godin
- Finishing 'spruce' (spruce) matte - a beauty, of course, the finiton matte is more sensitive in the sense that small scratches does not allow polish without a trace.
- Micro B-Band (thinner than a piezo and better sound)
- B-Band Preamp 3.2 (volume, treble, bass, middle, presence) very effective

UTILIZATION

- Handle very well done very enjoyable from the first moment
- Easy access to acute because of the cutaway, but obviously not comparable with g. power. Easy battery change, due to a separate compartment at the bottom of the guitar
- Very good ergonomics

SOUNDS

- I play mostly fingerpicking arrangements but - like folk, blues, world (because I do not mean that I can play jazz)
- I love the sound of a classical guitar and acoustic guitars I do not like at all if they have acute penetrating too. I like a balanced sound. And here I fell in love from the first moment.
I tried over a dozen different guitars in different price categories (different yamaha, martin, taylor, ovation) cheap guitars and Yamaha were quickly out of competition and I always came back to S & P. The only one that surpassed the taste was in my Taylor - but for a multiple of the price of the S & P.
- In acoustics, the sound is very balanced, well-defined and has very good bass. I think the clarity of the sound comes first timber but also because the surface is matte and has a very thin layer of varnish.
- I bought the guitar mainly for its acoustics, but by connecting it, I was disappointed, not because of the sound of the pickup (which I find very good - better than a conventional piezo) but the fact that strings were not well balanced. After analysis, the problem really is that the microphone is very thin and very sensitive to pressure differences. It cost me one or two afternoons working on the bridge to get a good balance - but hey, it may be that I am a bit of a perfectionist ...
- My amp is an AER-Compact60 which has a special circuit to increase the treble and for 'dépiézoifier' sound - here, we do not need it. The sound is quite natural.

I still give a 10 for the acoustic sound
For his electroacoustic after adjustment, I would give a 8 / 10 (before I set a 5 / 10)

OVERALL OPINION

I have the guitar for two months
I love it for its acoustics, its finish, wood, touch.
Quality / price ratio: EXCELLENT
I would do this choice, but I would try to get maybe the same or higher with a model system with two microphones B-Band (AST and UST), which apparently improves (making it more natural) still sound ' connected 'and that also reduces inequality in volume between the strings.
