My finances allow me, I reconnected with models Lag Tramontane nylon line. I owned a few years TN200ACE (review submitted on this site) and have sold ... to regret. I therefore repeat with the "little sister" TN66.
Well, against all odds, I prefer this model.
Both similar in form (auditorium) in their manufacturing quality. Only the wooden box and the different pre-amplification.
This model TN66, entry level, is made of wood veneer. The table is not like the TN200 solid cedar, spruce but plating. The result is in my ears better, Attack on medium-acute, it is obvious. The bass are present and well defined. The projection is identical to the two instruments. TN66 but seems a little wider, probably due to the presence of spruce.
On the pre-amp, no pre-conceived équalisations but a good shadow Nanoflex orders with severe / acute, shape, volume and phase inversion. The essential. Any lack of even the tuner, it is a detail.
Regarding the overall quality workmanship and fit, this is very good. However, I note that I had to play the file on the bridge saddle for perfect playability (string action) of this guitar.
As the value for money of the upper range may be debatable, but in my opinion correct, as this model offers a TN66ACE quality / sound / playability / price undeniable. A very nice and good guitar ...
