Value For Money :
Excellent
- The sound is soft and shiny,
- The resonance is strong enough (mini-jumbo, it helps!)
- The preamp (TK4NT) is really good
(Including the built-in tuner for those interested)
- The finish is very good (table and beautiful rosette, chrome tuners, etc., the rest on: https://www.takamine.com/?fa=detail&mid=742&sid=69)
UTILIZATION
- A comfortable handle that gives a pleasant feel.
- As the model 6 string, I found a string height a little too high (it's still a 12-string ... but the six strings, she became hard to master!).
-> Access to the boxes in the middle and top of handle is limited (despite the cutaway) but is this the goal of a 12-string?
- Not playing every day on this guitar, I find that the strings move a lot. and 12 strings (with or without octave) is a little more tedious to give 6 ...
-> The tuner is very sensitive (especially on the upper strings) to the force of the attack: an attack too strong and the tuner sees that the rope is too high, if you do not attack strong enough, the signal is sometimes not sufficient for it to turn on.
for strings, I recommend a tyrant too strong (Tirana normal and that's it!)
I do not know what that may exist in this area, 12 strings, it leaves a small gap between the strings and work for the fingers
SOUNDS
Many present with this kind of instruments ... consider it as a rhythm guitar would be very gear! we do not play that kind of stupid as a 6 string, but also in acoustics, it is very sound.
the sound is quite go anywhere, change the pick and the world is yours.

I think this guitar is proposed by Takamine at a good price / quality ratio (a year ago, when I purchase prices oscillated between 650 and 800 euros).
the box is not a luxury for this kind of instrument (+ / - 110 euros).
good instrument to start the 12-string but to try before you buy very carefully: ca ask a lot of work and envy. (But after you get tired of it any time soon!)
