How long have you been using?
3 months after owning a Yamaha M108 small piano for beginners.

Did you try many other models before buying it?
Sure, but let's be reasonable, there is the steinway berchtein or other, but it is another world, especially on the side of the portfolio ....!

What is so special that you like most and least?
Being forced to clean up non-stop, lacquered black color is terrible for this, any dust or fingerprints are visible.
Otherwise not blame everything is smooth.

How do you rate the quality / price?
Excellent for mine that I bought used from a dealer that selects good instruments. But you have to invest a little when you want to be happy. The quality pay.
I preferred to take a U1 used instead of a new one because it is stable and defects youth have disappeared. In fact it does not move. Agree very stable. Mechanical silent.

With experience, you do again this choice? ...
Of course all this is a purchase and not a thought impulse.
I hesitated with U3 is beautiful but much more great and disproportionate to the room where I use it.
The U1 is the absolute reference of piano study in the conservatory. This piano is a robust, versatile, pleasant to the touch and sound power quite impressive for its size.
Solid construction, and aesthetically pleasing and timeless.
What's more to this beautiful instrument.

Well, I'm piano teacher, and I had the chance to try a lot of instruments. The u1 piano is my house, there is only me who uses it (no lves). I have rarely found pianos that sound this Manir! I confess that today I would like a piano acqurir tail because technically it is not enough for me ... but prcis good budget does not follow (wah). It has good bass , a rich and mdium AIGS clear. It is also versatile: it can play Messiaen Bnabar! A little something for fans: Open up (it's in the box a little foot rest for the roof) to better hear the rsonnances and timbre of your instrument, and open, it has a sound similar ... . open half of a toad. I jou toads on other brands and I prfre by far my u1 (can be good except that the only mcanisme is always a piano prfre tail)! Prcise same when I here that has not even when the power of a piano line. Well, on this version, no pedals tone, if I could afford, I would pay the 118 c3 or knew or u3 professionnal. The report price is trs good quality. With exprience, I would do without this choice hsiter. However, attention to buyers of used pianos, always able to try the instrument before! Some Yamaha foils with age, making them dsagrables. This dpend of Manir they face before t! Another tip and dernire: better an upright piano that sounds good piano line that sounds a mean (and cele almost rhymes!. I use this piano for nearly two years. My friend and I have acquired to replace an electric piano. It serves as an instrument for the course "beginner" my friend and our workouts.

We also do piano / violin duo with both Mirecourt and blend well. Same for the piano / vocals, the sound is very good and the voice is not swamped by the piano.

Ours is a reconditioned piano. Ie before it was a piano conservatory used intensively and it was restored for the purpose of resale. We use it every day and so far no problem of deterioration has occurred. Many other retailers have warned against this method is saying that the piano will fall apart very quickly. That may be true, but for now we really have no problem, and have been for 2 years.

We tried a lot of pianos before choosing one. What we found most questioned is the sound produced by the instrument. It is beautiful.

What we love most, aside so the sound is the fact that there is a mute (we play in an apartment in the evening), the keys are not difficult to play (some pianos are really unpleasant use).

What we like least is primarily concerned with the mute. Unfortunately it greatly reduces the treble, so that the notes are almost inaudible ... Which is really not practical.

We are very pleased with this piano. The sound and resonance are really nice and does nothing to detract from the game we were referring to this election and we unhesitatingly recommend it to anyone wishing to acquire a quality piano for daily training.
