Just a little precision, these are passive speakers, not active (classification Audiofanzine).
And besides they are not the monitoring speakers.
They taient supplied with my iMac, so for home use. Listen to music from iTunes, watch the video ... So everyday use.
The amp is the sound card of the computer.
They are super compact and trs sexy I think. What comes out of the lab is always an Apple rgal eye. Membranes on mine is not black but white is more class I think.
Note that these speakers come from Apple with the help of Harman Kardon.
SOUNDS
I would not say whether it is neutral, I do not really. The receiver of the same computer it should not really be. The sound is more oriented hi-fi, but quality of flattering.
In any case I find a super beautiful. They have a lot of potatoes and does not saturate or trs little (unless you push the volume back).
People who come to me believe that the sound comes from my monitor speakers IMMEDIATE vicinity. They fall to the ground when they realize that it is these two little balls that make these wonderful sounds. Including musicians habitus dgueulasse sound on their computer speakers.
OVERALL OPINION
I use a dpart since the iMac with either 3 or 4 years. I'm tired, the walk total.
I think they are no longer present, if so, shame. The new iMac possde intgres speaker, I find the sound worse. For laptops do not even speak ... So Apple shows us these speakers of madness!
