OVERALL OPINION

I use network order to communicate with my artists. In this role is perfect for the price EXCEPT that the basic design is bad, the transformer (hp right) is just behind the grave.
At the start you have a nice 50hz, discreet but present.
The price of the pair that is not a surprise, but the manufacturer speaks shield ... There is a real problem of radiation.

I removed the transformer and have deported with 2 meters of cable in a junction box classic. Since no worries, it is used in network order and mod enters the original box simply by transferring polystyrene above.

I am not an anti Behringer, I have two pairs of Truth B1031A listen that I love and have a real quality with a quality / price excellent.
But frankly for MS16 of "monitors" or "tapping" ...

SOUNDS

The frequency curve is sufficiently neutral?
Not at all! but it is for her that I've snuff ... useless to hope to own with a mix! eventuelement to sound in a synth, or listening to music ...

The dynamics are respected?
everything is relative! with sub sound is less loud. and therefore sounds more round. otherwise it is the acute and medium ... with the impression of zero dynamics :/

The stereo image is good?
surprisingly yes! I find them very well in this field (I done dub) and my delay effects passing from right to left are well reproduced.

The sound is clear and precise across the spectrum?
it is not perfectly flat perfect xD basically have to push the bass to have a little pressure equilibrate its ...

Trs compact, multifunctional and practical (cinch, MiniJack STREO 3.5 mm microphone)
My company grew recently bought 9 pairs as in miniaturized sound dmonstrations audiovisual (but not for a rgy!). This shows the intellgibilit silent speech more important than quality "high fidelitquot; music.
The extremely favorable price silent a strong argument (no financial risk ...).
Moreover, all the electronic is in the right speaker, the left is passive.
There are always some noise in indoor mcaniques shock when these small speakers. These sounds may also be excited by the vibrations of the membranes of chassis low frequencies.
At least in the left speaker there is nothing (either in absorption)!

According to my tests, the highlight is the ffective (yield: the thundering noise level with the 8 watts of power). Sound a little hard intlligibilit increases of speech. For music, you have to use the adjusters Tone (amplify the low frequencies, rduire a bit high), but you get faster to the limits of the System.
It seems to me that the acute suffering some rsonances: rduire treble does not disparatre the hardness of the sound.

OVERALL OPINION

I would not call it a forum for monitoring, because I would not judge a record on the basis of which is radiated by the MS-16.
For me, these are ultra-compact loudspeaker systems whose best quality is the efficiency:
- The electro-acoustic efficiency (performance, intellgibilit)
- The efficiency with respect to the price / usefulness that they provide for 100 CHF / 70 Euros!
A typical application is the amplification of sound from a notebook at the front of a public audiovisual prsentations up to 30 people (if they are quiet ..)
Taking into account these limitations, once again the price / usefulness of this product is thundering Behringer (ok, produced in China, but meanwhile is also Mackie).
Behringer has announced powered speakers a little larger: the MS-20, but it takes ...

I had to buy the home behringer 20 ms and as I found them good, I wanted to buy these ones for my wife who does voiceover.

they blow a bit but nothing serious the stereo? yes, the price is great the sound is very good about multimedia speakers but we can not do with the monitoring, the lower are quickly blurred, the sound a little more metal. short, nothing too terrible and can not exceed the middle of the volume but for a small room is already more than enough.

I needed a little powered speakers near neutral and cheap to register a model without pretension.

So when you plug these speakers for the first time (by putting all the settings at noon) we noticed a swelling in the lower, but the rest of the spectrum is relatively neutral, surprisingly.

It will suffice to lower the bass a notch or two for neutrality.



OVERALL OPINION

I use them for two years, and frankly I am satisfied.

To make it simple and straightforward: These are not studio monitors itself (they boostent a little low) but they are good speakers has to do everything, rather durable and cashing relatively sound accidental shocks.

Maintenent I use them for computer music (Reason Cubase) very good forum for movies, I also use a keyboard arranger korg m50 and the sound is very good, only the chattering too powerful bass speakers are crackling ( several times I thought I had blown it but hold out for now)



Voila, good value for the behringer is surprising, for total neutrality could use some work but the front two bands equalizer with a bearing problem.

Otherwise very good speaker has everything to keyboards for PC, with attention to the bass drum machines, groove boxes and synthesizers and a little fat.

Speaker who clearly have their limits, but very good value for money.
