Attention, such as eavesdropping or pregnant, they take some time before running to give the best of themselves. Given my use, it took almost one year they are properly lapped. but since it is a real pleasure, and above all a very good tool.
The stereo image is very good, the sound is sufficiently clear and precise to work correctly his mixes. the frequency curve is relatively neutral, on the other hand there is nothing below 50hz but the low frequency output by these speakers is very accurate and nervous, the dynamics is excellent. well for most mix, on the other hand, for electro or dubstep, it will take a box or another pair of plays with an 8 inch at minimum.
A significant detail, they are not at all tiring after a long work session, and sound as good at low or high volume.

OVERALL OPINION

I am very satisfied with these little plays that are very good at their job, the value for money is excellent because it is a real tool. I was even pleasantly surprised finished running, I did not expect such quality for 200 €.
I worked in a lot of studios pros with a wide range of different plays. Given the constraints that are mine, a local acoustic deplorable, it is perfect for my use.
I have to move soon and I will put a piece in my home studio, and this time, I could work the room acoustics. I looked for small monitor speakers, active and proximity, for mobile use with a laptop and an M-audio fw410.
18 watts + 18 watts highs for serious: more than enough for this use. Jack and RCA connectors. Large volume knob on the back, oversize compared to that of PM1. ON LED on the front. Nice finish front, black lacquered. 3.75 kg each.

Top of the spectrum very well defined, perfect stereo image, good dynamics and precision across the spectrum but watch anything below 53 Hz at-10dB (with test frequency generator) .. m'enfin, given the small size boomers (4 inches) and the announcement of a lower bandwidth by the manufacturer (60Htz-22Khz at-10dB) is still not quibble.

OVERALL OPINION

After two days of testing, good little plays that fit my requirements, well suited to first-rate controls in a sound recording: frequency of attacks, pop and sibilance on vocals, compression strength, closing gates and possibly stalling reverbs and delays. Nothing to do with the PM1 descending course much lower but the high end seems better defined than the latter, can be vis a vis the lower medium less present. True smaller monitors relatively precise control of small budget. Much better than a pair of Auratone. Not meant to mix, though, with a sub box optional to do.
I am very pleased with this purchase that perfectly matches what I sought. Compact, precise definition and image: Ideal for the nomad with a laptop and a sound card.

I needed to monitor quality but not too powerful in puisce apartment is tight!

I find these little monitors really good, very good ... I have made the comparison with other like Tapco S5, which frankly is a terrible ... its not too low ... what comes out is porridge definition sound ... no ... I do not know how you can mix with it
I there a clear, clean, no frills, good it lacks a little low freq but tt was honorable to the size and price.

OVERALL OPINION

I've been 8 months now and most of the friends were impressed by the report, however there is a party to the search for the next day.
very good value for money ...

with the experience I would take the range above, the PM-05 history to broaden the spectrum of freq ... too bad for the neighbors ...

good after a big project mixed on these monitors, I confirm it is ... but lacks bass so we tend to put too much ... especially for bass drums, I produce hip hop and I ' confess that I think a move above the range.
Now just to make up I always find as well!!

Frankly for me it nophite as bluffing. The sound is pure, the well frquences Dfine, clear image Stereo TRS against pregnant I had before (the crature JBL, who are the dj correct computer speakers). I'm no expert but I think the balance of frquences is respect.

Well since today only (I have just received !)... so it's not an opinion that has built on the hard I agree. Priori if the quality of manufacture is also by appointment. It's beautiful, it's all over, the catch is beefy, the volume also knob. There's no scam on the goods! I think they will last.

Yes I do it again the choice is clear.

Plays small neighborhood, enough power 18 18 watts,
Bommer 10 cm dome tweeter and textiles.
An input and a volume knob.
No correction possible (you can use a mini behringer FBQ800 for volume and the equation for 49 Euros)

OVERALL OPINION

Excellent attention to use compact posed near the screen of the computer or portable use.
Very good choice for vocals and other acoustic instrumentals, they have the perfect place to mount the / images and / or listen to music for a small room.
For this purpose we regret that there have not just the volume front, but there I quibble ...

Active monitor speakers
2x18watt (woofer + tweeter, 10cm), more than enough to mix at reasonable volume in a small room, I never use more than one-half the volume ...

Envents front (a very important criterion for my choice, I do not have room for them to 2m from the wall)
No pitch correction (one volume of the tweeter would still have been a lot)

Overall volume of each speaker to the back, I do not know why they do not care tjs behind, I find it impractical architecture, with speakers on the walls, so my volumes are tjs thoroughly, I will not touch, I standing with my interface ...

Otherwise they are pretty well finished, very compact ...

Compared to the speakers I used before the sound is still very accurate without being inordinately (it still speaker input range). néamoins the stereo at the beginning is pretty amazing, the bass are not present in exes, but are rather specific to mix rock that is more than enough for the biggest electronica to aim ...
I still feel they are a flattering hair in the lower midrange, but nothing too bad.
