I purchased these speakers to mix in the studio pro. Mostly acoustic usic lam. Added reputation of course, and the fact that these speakers are tousle studios around the world.
SOUNDS
I see only one thing to say about these speakers: they are "fair". I find all the stereo systems or radio (when I have mixed it goes, though! If! This arive) exactly what I put in my mix. Better yet, if something bothers me a little about the 1031, Hi-fi then it bother me much. The fiablité is real, and amazing when you see the dimensions that are not huge.
OVERALL OPINION
I use the 1031 for almost 10 years. As tester in a magazine, I sovent the opportunity to compare with other brands, other models. So far, there are only QUESTED which I thought was comparable. Other brands in the same range (Dynaudio, Mackie, Far) seemed to me less.
