- This is my first monitor speakers actually. The fact is that I had a nice price.
- For the studio course. For me to record groups "rock".
- They are bi-amplified 75 25 RMS (woofer + tweeter). They are connected to the home UX8 line6. I go out in symmetrical jacks of the sound card and I returned to XLR on the speakers.

SOUNDS

I've heard the Yamaha NS-10, which are known to be neutral, for the money (about € 300 a pair in store) ikey-audio to meet well the curve below 50Hz is death against it, but it's not good to shake the room that I have taken.
Good stereo once you have found the phase for us.

Good stereo once you have found the phase for us.
For accuracy it's downright good for the clarity he can be blamed to be a bit dark after all.
Good dynamic nothing to say on it.

OVERALL OPINION

I have been about one month and so far nothing I regret its acquisition.
What I like most:
- The look
- Its connectors (XLR, Jack 6.35mm, RCA)
- Adjustment with potentionètre for high / frequency (cut / boost)

minimum:
- Its usually a bit dark

My overall opinion can not be objective because it is my first monitor speakers. One thing is certain, from what I heard from Genelec and Yamaha, the M-606 speakers are good to begin with and their price is still accessible. It's good stuff though strong.
With the experience I would take the more expensive speakers in my opinion ...
