Excellent
Bass-reflex bi-amplified active boomer with 5 "(13cm) and ferro-fluid tweeter dme.
Asymtrique and go in between RCA and XLR TRS symtriques, outlet type Moulinex all there is more standard.
Always connect the speakers symtrique, between the asymtrique generates higher volumes, lower dynamic and hum and noise.
Rglage knob Crant by volume (not prcis trs) of-30dB +6 dB, the manufacturer recommends always rgler gain 6 dB, except in special cases (correct placement for the 5.1 by example).
Tweeter adjustment:-2dB,-1dB, 0dB, +1 dB. KRK recommends 0dB, I used mine a dB. I prfr amplitude rglages broader kind -6 / +6 dB and a SETTING THE break in the grave, but that price you can not have it all.
I used these speakers for 2 years on an M-Box2 and Digi002.
SOUNDS
THE FIRST thing that strikes me with these speakers is the image stro. Amazing! Under good conditions, the center is a point between the two speakers, not a spot or a band that would stamp the entire width of a sound from becoming almost no when panning between the center and c ts.
The bass are trs Submitted: they have some punch while not as pervasive as that on Fostex (brk!). But they are soft and without Definition: all the bass and bass drums all sound the same. However, the tweeter is sweet trs, trs does not rise above, and the gum agressivit a bad microphone. In short, as in the severe acute arserve of surprises rcoute of the mixes on other speakers.
Rponse curve is not right, sure. Between the serious and which are down mdium trs forward and up-trs mdium pretty, there is a gray area not well Dfine. And the extreme treble is too discreet.
OVERALL OPINION
Fawn gnrale, these are good speakers, with an excellent price-quality ratio.
But more, we do so much better for listening to music or watch divx, nothing wrong, it's beautiful! In multimedia speakers, it's high-end trs!
But for the monitoring, dcidment not. They are far too flattering and erase them all-even default to the sound, which will emerge elsewhere.
I had purchased to replace the stereo speakers that I era, and aa t a leap forward in the early months. Then I spent a year and a half regret my purchase. 6 months ago as I replaced them with Focal CMS65, and it dcidment day and night, I redcouvre my ears.
