These are my first monitor speakers. I was looking for a good value for money.

Ideal for beginners. I would still use them if I hadn't found a great deal for a pair of Focal SoloBe6...

- Application: my home studio (8 to 20 hours per week)
- My setup:
MOTU 828 MKII, ACER notebook and Cubase V... I never had a single problem although I used them also to play guitar and bass.

SOUNDS

They show a lot of fidelity to the source signal. The low-frequency response is rather fat. I noticed a lack of high frequencies but you can always adjust the response controls on the rear.
Good dynamic response
Good stereo imaging
It's a good idea to adjust the response with a spectral analyzer like the Behringer ULTRACURVE PRO DEQ2496.

OVERALL OPINION

Three years
Pro: front-port bass reflex system
Con: too powerful lows, lack of highs and high-mids (with all rear controls set to "0")
Good value for money for beginners
I would buy them again if my budget was low...
