I needed to vent a bass reflex enclosure with front panel, because I do not have enough back in my room. So the speakers are back to the wall.
I use a config amateur home studio. They are plugged into my card ESI ESP1010.

SOUNDS

The stereo image is impeccable ... better than for the KRK RP5. and the sound is much clearer. Less tiring to use. Dynamic level, great and powerful side, I started to 0db and I rule from the Control Panel of my sound card.
Obviously, it lacks a little low (though ....) but hey, given the size of bowls, it's normal.

OVERALL OPINION

I bought 4 days ago .... and frankly at the moment, I enjoy ....
I like the definition of sound and stereo image, even at low volume.
I appreciate the correction of high frequencies.
shame that the adjustment knobs, plugs and LED indicator are u running in the back. Front would have been better.
I tried several models: SAMSON Resolv 50R, Fostex PM05, KRK RP5 ...
and others with the vent on the rear panel: Tapco S6, M-Audio BX5, ESI and NearO5 Near05ex ...
I opted for Prodipe and I do not regret it.

I put 9 for controls on the rear.

EDIT: Bought in October 2006, I had to bring back one last week at the store, the amp dedicated to the low end seems to have dropped. Not Cool! ...
The shop lent me another waiting (quite nice! Thank Music West!)
I just saw that other people have had problems with electronic ... hum! Hopefully this is not a consequence of the low price of these speakers!. To see!
They always have such a good sound. I do not get enough!
