Published on 08/15/14 at 06:12Technology treating the phase response was heckled me on paper and in two minutes of listening I was convinced.
Also I like the attention given to the insulation of the amplifiers in each speaker, spring loaded. These are serious people.
SOUNDS
For what concerns the color, it is clearly in Switzerland.
To have listened to many times the A21m alongside the A17 and A25, we are immediately struck by their similarity, the only notable differences being the extent of vertical listening axis and the extent of the bass response.
On this last point the A21m down low enough to spend this sub and work peacefully. Provided you have good feet inert to ensure good reproduction.
From the perspective of microdynamic, work the compressor is very easy, the speakers compressing very little signal, the more subtle changes are audible without force.
The stereo image is gorgeous. Here clearly the only inaccuracies that could be met are to be attributed to the listening room where the quality of care.
If cutting is good that each element of the master can be isolated, we can concentrate without problem on their tone and have a royal retreat on the scene.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for almost 1 year, RAS, it's solid, and to keep away from curious little hands, I have the option with grids if necessary.
One day a friend comes to me and hears with his songs reference. Horror!
According to him, if the speakers made no good (or nothing good must see ...) it was their fault, they were inappropriate to the "real world." None of his songs were "good" and laughing PSI and made him bleed ruthless in both ears.
I listen to other models before acquiring PMC TB2S + very attractive but remains in the range of below, Focal Solo6be more draft, then I do not want to pay their com 'or aesthetic design, Genelec 1031A j not like when it ment, Klinger Favre on which I could not make up my mind as they were not supported by a sound of the most famous, same for Adam SX3 and Focal SM9 listened to a Parisian dealer well known in pitiful conditions.
Aside from Klinger Favre where I'll have to revert, the others are at much lower rates.
In fact I was not party to this range there but an opportunity presented itself and I was able to acquire a pair for cheaper than new pmc.
My best buy in the studio with the Schoeps yet!
