Roland DS-30A

The Roland DS 30A are small speakers that can certainly get around what may be an advantage. Apprciable between the optical and the converter 24 bit 96kHz, for the binding of one against the other speakers is via a RCA, oddly I put an optical out but good.
The cable for connecting the speaker is not provided, the optical cable either, just the power cords and user manual. For use on the Roland if possible if you benefitted the COSM technology (simulation of Systm costs), you can test your mix on different virtual Systmes (radio, tl ect ..). SOUNDS

In terms of rponse in frquence it is particulirement apprciable once you get used to it relatively flat lgrement noted in acute but against if a speaker sounds good on, has also sounds good, be careful, however, the lower part of the spectrum it starts sound reproduction that 68 Hz which is a fair bit if you make hip hop or reggae the or they must be very good low round for the moment no sub prvu apparently compensated for, but good for any style of music it is good trs. OVERALL OPINION

I use these speakers for several months now, before I mixais the headphone but your exact n'tait not good, since I mix on these speakers (I use a prcisant in VS 2400 Roland) the sound is beautiful no surprise anyway, just to be careful at low prciser as above, especially if you get your mix on a system with Bose Acoustimass subwoofer type. I love the look of these speakers, their size trs practical, high quality, I regret that in the rponse frquence not be tighter in the bass, if anything.
For the price I pay my pice 320, YAMAHA j'hsitais with MS10 but they are standards on the one hand, and not of mind, and then more good ch re. Frankly I think I would do this choice because they give me Entire stisfaction.

Selected for the "small" monitoring (dmo couraging, for small models dmarcher ...)
Power is more than enough (never more than 5 / 10 yet but a nice dynamic, has changed the "hi-fi not too expensive", o))

SOUNDS

The curve frequency drives seems fairly neutral in most of the spectrum as given that my mix (and I am far from being a pro!) Do not sound too bad in diffrent config (hi -fi, post car ...)
on the other hand, small problem to evaluate properly the low end (which may be of the small Diameter of HP giving some serious power in trs)

OVERALL OPINION

I use them for 2 ½ years. Report qualitprix correct, but I have not a lot compared.
I like their sound (I gave up my hi-fi since I redcouvre some albums ...).
I like the optical connection, but I find it quite dbile have to join in the RCA deuxime pregnant ... (Sound card -> optical -> Premire enceintre -> RCA thrue -> 2nd speaker).
I do not like the fact that food is cram two months of APRS 2-year warranty (120 euros with the workforce).

This choice I would do if I have not the opportunity to hear something else that would seem better!
