SOUNDS
The neutral curve is no problem, very well respected, the stereo image is how to say 'almost perfect' because it never is.
The sound is very specific in the acute (not so loud or KoolSound behringer MS 20-40 who are not monitoring speakers c true). The high mids and low mids are precisely différienciés and out (important to mix the tracks, snare and toms, sax and keyboards). The bass is a little less precise and lacks a bit of presence but with four-inch c quite accurate! While it is true that some say it is low end and it can not substitute for yam NS10 Genelec 1030 +, I think it is possible to make correct and unpretentious mix it. Buy 159 Euro in toto c cool!
OVERALL OPINION
Used for 5 months mantenance The positives are:
price, style, clarity of sound, power
the least
it's four inches, but we know when they are purchased.
I could compare them with NS 10 yam, the Genelec 1030, near the ESI 5 and behringer truth 2030 and 2031 active and 20 ms and 40 ms.
they are near the top of the ESI because the sound is clearer, the behringer MS are PC speakers sound better but still not bad (some frequencies of these speakers are boosted [serious - acute] C difficult for the mix ..) NS 10 are definitely doing that to bring out the mediums (all the above sounds very clear!). The Genelec is the reference studios and are still on top, but how? And finally the thruth behringer 2030 and 2031 rings true especially at the top with over fishing in the bass but for a higher price.
With my experience chosen is resolv would focus on 65 to have more bass but for 159 euros! do not hesitate
