Previously, I was equipped with Yamaha HS80 Mr. Very good speaker a general fairly neutral, but the vent is located at the rear which in home studio setup can be very embarrassing for the proper dissemination of low frequencies.

I wanted to stay with Yamaha, which is why I'm interested in MSP7. More compact, vents placed at the front.

Level features:
- Bi-amplification 130 w
- Boomer 6.5 "
- 1 "tweeter
- Response 45Hz / 40khz
- Possibility of adjusting the frequency (filter) through the use of selectors at the rear
- XLR
- 12.2 kg (phew!)

SOUNDS

Neutrality? : Yes!
Accuracy? : Yes!

They are very accurate and totally neutral, I would even surgical ... Once installed I spent 1 hour to re listen to mixes old, glued to my chair by the fine detail ... A recommendation for the work of mixing and finalized. on the other hand attention are pregnant 0 compromise, if you send them to the stew, they spit the stew ...

I also use MO PAD at Auralex to avoid loss of frequencies. It costs € 30 and the pair is simply indispensable in home studio environment.

Of course, the stereo image will be good if you are positioned correctly relative to speakers. Yes, momentum is maintained.

OVERALL OPINION

I use them for one month now, and the first hearing was immediately convinced me!

Before, I had HS80M, and before that, the Behringer Truth ... day and night ...

The +:
- Accuracy
- Clarity
- Neutrality
- Potentiometer notched volume
- Filters

The -:
- The weight
- The on / off switch misplaced

In terms of performance, price / quality ratio is very good and the price of 550 € is totally justified.

Yes, I do it again this choice without a doubt!
