Published on 01/19/13 at 00:13I owned one since 2003 equipped with a HP RCF. The sub is robust. I use it in 2.1 system associated with 2 passive speakers in my building with Beyma (plan found on the website Beyma) and amplified by an NSX TR 15.2. The system gives me an excellent broadcast quality for 150 people.
To return to the sub, it produces rich bass and round. In 10 years never any problems even by heating the beast.
Mackie bad points if the new subs are mounted HP Asia. I understand the frustration of users.
I agree with some that fold on ART. I also implemented subs ART is fun!
