Thread CONNECTIVITY PROBLEMS ADAT FIREPORT/MAC PRO

I use an Alesis ADAT HD24 to record multi-track audio for a music television program. At my studio, I connect a 250GB hard drive to my Dual-Core Intel Xenon Mac Pro using the Alesis Fireport 1394. Once connected to my Mac, I normally open Alesis FST Connect software to export tracks from the hard drive the computer for editing in Pro Tools. This has normally worked fine, until this week. Upon connecting the hard drive to my Mac and opening Alesis FST connect, I see a blinking red light on the Fireport 1394. The tracks won't show up in the Alesis FST software window and I cannot export audio tracks. Any help on how to remedy this would be much appreciated.
