OVERALL OPINION
I have these converters for 4 years,
They are well below the multifaceted and Fireface, which remain home studio,
then the ADI-8 PRO and DS are professional equipment.
Some reviews have compared to the Apogee 8000 and Digidesign 96I / O,
the RME are below.
However, I did not compare but I think the new aurora must be a bit above the bottom of the spectrum. Maybe.
What I like the pus: it's simple you plug it work, you press the swith it goes and that's 48k.
Personally, I see no interest to work with 88.1kHZ or 96kHz,
which will be finally reduced to mp3.
The entire industry is in the video and audio 48lHz 44.1kHz,
therefore have no interest in that the 48kHz +.
The clock is good.
I also heard recently of the Antelope clocks, peudo-revolutionary, that are really just expensive stereo expanders for gogo.
The clock is niquel RME to work, syncro stability problem.
With experience, I do it again this choice?

In 2000, I studied with researchers at IRCAM, which already at that time said,
"The most advanced equipment is RME, Cubase, piloted by XP"!
Meanwhile brilliant marketing teams have very different ideas of the past, but everyone will notice her.
For my part I am on RME since 2001 and I have no reason to change.
